Easter was a fun time – we went on vacation for a whole week of vacation – a whole week with mom and dad!
First, we went for two days to visit the KAYT team in Luxembourg. We drove through the Jura, which was very beautiful, though I’ve got to admit that I slept for most of the way. They are actually not living in Luxembourg but in France, very close to the border to Luxembourg. They’ve got a nice house with a big garden in a small, historic village. And lots of kids in the neighborhood to play with!
It was a lot of fun to see Yonas and Tabea again. They’ve got different toys than I have, so it was lots of fun playing with them – and I somehow figured that I could also play with Yonas and Tabea. They had this Indian tent, and we played at least an hour with it – all together! Though I was not the only one playing – Papa took a test-drive of the new Nintendo Wii.
But most importantly, I was able steal some ideas from them. In example, did you know that this big white bowl in the bathroom is for peeing? Tabea showed me – and I managed as well. The first time, nothing happened, but the second time: I peed! If it was just a bit easier to figure out when I have to pee… I also learnt that I’ve got to wash my hands afterwards.
Plus, they had lots of stairs that I climbed up and downed!
On Sunday, we went to Luxembourg City, and there was a nice park with a HUGE pirate ship with lots of things to play on it. I played so much that I even managed to tire out my mom! Overall, Luxembourg City is very nice – not too big, not too small – kind of cozy.
Back at KAYT’s place, more play: A swing, a big doll house, balls… it was lots of fun. Katja then gave me lots of close to wear – in return, I ensuredthat Papa’s shoes stayed at their place…
On Monday before Easter, we drove to Oma in Düsseldorf. I was really happy to see her again. She played with me a lot, took me to the playgrounds in theneighborhood, and even bought a swing for the garden – just for me!
It was my first “real” Easter, given that I cannot remember last year’s, and my Oma did a funny thing: She hid presents in the garden! No clue why, but she didn’t hide them very well, and I was able to find them fairly quickly.
I also went to see Papa’s friends Chris and Oggi and got entertained in the café by the waitress for much of the morning. Afterwards, we took a stroll through the city, but I decided that it was more important to sleep…
Later during the week, we visited my godparents Rudi and Barbara for dinner (good food!). They have two cats, but unfortunately noneturned out as friendly as Thomas, even though I approached them as carefully as I could…My
Mom, Papa, Rudi and Barbara were so busy talking - and playing with me - that I was allowed to stay up almost until midnight! And two days later, Barbara picked me up, and together with my mom we went to a store dull of toys – it was like paradise. Sooo many great things, and I was even able to take home a few…!
Ostern war klasse – wir waren für eine Woche in den Ferien – eine ganze Woche mit Mama und Papa.
Zuerst waren wir in Luxemburg, um das KAYT Team zu besuchen. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Fahrt durch die Jura, obwohl ich zugeben muss, dass ich die meiste Zeit geschlafen habe. Die leben eigentlich gar nicht in Luxemburg, sondern in Frankreich – aber ganz nah an der Grenze. Sie haben ein schönes Hause mit einem grossen Garten in einem kleinen, historischem Dorf. Und ganz viele Kinder in der Nachbarschaft!
Es war schön, Yonas und Tabea wiederzusehen. Sie haben andere Spielsachen als ich, und es war spassig, mit ihnen zu spielen – und ich habe bemerkt, dass man auch mit Yonas und Tabea spielen kann. Sie hatten diese Indianerzelt, und wir haben bestimmzein Stunde damit gespielt – all zusammen! Aber ih war nicht der einzige, der gespielt hat – Papa hat auch gespielt und die Nintendo Wii ausprobiert.
Aber was wichtiger war: Ich konnte ein paar Idden von Ihnen stehlen. Habt Ihr zum Beispiel gewusst, dassdiese grosse weisse Schüssel im Badezimmer zum Pinkeln da ist? Tabea hat mir das gezeigt – und ich habe es sogar geschafft! Das erste Mal ist nichts passiert, aber beim zeiten Mal... da hab’ ich gepinkelt! Wenn es doch nur leichter werden, herauszufinden, wann ich eigntlich pinkeln muss. Ich habe uch gelert, dass man sich danach die Hände waschen muss.
Und im Haus gab es vieleTreppen, die ich rauf- und runtergestiegen bin.
Am Sonntag waren wir dann in Luxemburg-Stadt, und da gab es einen Park mit einem riesengrossen Piratenschiff mit ganz vielem Zeugs drauf. Ich habe soviel gespiel, dass sogar Mama müde geworden ist. Insgesamt ist Luxemburg-Stadt sehr schön – nicht zu klein, nicht so gross – einfach gemütlich.
Zurück bei KAYT’s haben wir dann noch mehr gespielt – es gab eine Schaukel, ein grossens Puppenhaus, Bälle – es war sehr viel Spass. Katja hat mir dann noch viele schöne Sachen zum Anzeihen mitgegeben – dafür habe ich dann dafür gesorgt, dass die Schuhe vom Papa dageblieben sind...
Am Montag sind wir dann zu Oma nach Düsseldorf gefahren. Ich habe mich wirklich gefreut, sie wiederzusehen. Sie hat sehr viel mit mir gespielt, mir alle Spielplätze in der Umgebung gezeigt, und sogar eine Schaukel gekauft – nur für mich!
Es war mein erstes „richtiges Ostern“, da ich mich an letztes Jahr ja nicht erinnern kann, und Oma hat was lustiges gemacht: Sie hat Geschenke im Garten versteckt. Keine Ahnung wiso!?! Sie hat sie aber nicht gut versteckt, und so habe ich die Geschenke dann auch recht schnell gefunden.
Ich habe auch Papa’s Freund Oggi und Chris kennegelernt, und wurde im Cafe für den grössten Teil des Vormittags von der Kellnerin unterhalten. Danach sind wir noch in der Stadt spazierengegangen, aber ich hatte mich entschieden, dass es wichtiger war, zu schlafen...
Später in der Woche haben wir dann auch meine Paten Rudi und Barbara besucht (klasse Essen!). Sie haben zwei Katzen, aber unglücklicherweise war keine so freundlich wie Thomas, obwohl ich mich ihnen so vorsichtig wie möglich näherte...
Mama, Papa, Rudi und Barbara haben so viel geredet – und mit mir gespielt – dass ich fast bis Mitternacht aufbleiben konnte! Und zwei Tage später hat mich Barbara abgeholt, und zusammen mit Mama sind wir dann in ein Geschäft nur mit Spielsachen gegangen – das war fast wie im Paradies. So viele tolle Sachen, und ich durfte sogar ein parr mit nach Hause nehmen.
